We choose the best cattle in our herd to process and often keep some beef packs for our own consumption.

A 10kg beef pack will generally fit into a 20L space and standard top mount refrigerators usually have 250L of fridge and 100L of freezer space.
Do you feed your cattle grain?
No. The cattle eat grass most of the time and are supplemented with hay/silage when the grass growth is slower usually during winter.
What is hay?
Hay is grass that have been cut, dried and stored into big round bales usually after Spring when grass growth is the fastest.
Are you certified organic?
No, but we aim to raise our cattle as naturally as possible without the use of antibiotics unless absolutely necessary to ensure the welfare of the animal. But these animals will not be processed for our grass fed beef.
And all our grass fed beef are free from growth hormones and GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms).
What is so special about grass fed beef?
Grass-fed beef has been found to have a healthier ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. It often contains higher levels of key nutrients, including antioxidants, vitamins, and a beneficial fat called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) that's been tied to improved immunity and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Why are grass fed beef more expensive?
Pasture-raised cows take up more space and takes longer to grow to the same weight as those fed on grain.
What do F1 or F2 mean?
The letter 'F' stands for the word fillial and the number '1' or '2' refers to the generation. For example, a F1 Wagyu simply means that they are a first generation cross and are at least 50% Wagyu and F2 Wagyu means that they are at least 75% Wagyu. Likewise F1 & F2 Angus means that they are at least 50% & 75% Angus respectively.
